Tamimi Markets was honored for supporting Al Ahsa Dates Festival
For the third year in a row and in cooperation with Al Ahsa municipality, Tamimi Markets has the honor to participate and support one of the most important and traditional events in Al Ahsa– The 2016 Al Ahsa Dates Festival.
Tamimi Markets was awarded a certificate of appreciation by Prince Saud bin Naif, Governor of the Eastern Province, for being a gold sponsor of the festival. On behalf of Tamimi Markets, Khaled Almayoof, Manager of Investments and Public Relations, accepted the award with all pride.
The festival was also attended by Prince Bader bin Mohammed Bin Jalawi, Governor of Al Ahsa; and Eng. Adel Al-Mulhim, the Mayor of Al Ahsa city and the General Supervisor of the festival.
The festival aims to bring back the historical presence and heritage of the dates in Al Ahsa, the largest oasis of palms in the world; develop the relationship between the farmer and trader; and shed lights on the importance of its agriculture.
Tamimi Markets had its Al Ahsa branch three years ago and it sells a variety of dates from Al Ahsa and other areas in Saudi Arabia. Tamimi Markets also plans to have 50 branches by 2020 and proud to operate 30 stores at the current time from Al Khobar, Dammam, Jubail, Al Ahsa, Riyadh to Thuwal, and more locations soon across the Kingdome of Saudi Arabia.
